Thank you to everyone for supporting this campaign to fund the expansion of Canal Street Art Gallery.
We look forward to continuing to share the amazing art from our local artists with our community.
This expansion will allow the gallery to support even more artists and bring more of the arts to Historic Downtown Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Canal Street Art Gallery was founded in 2017 by three artists in order to fulfill the need for a stand-alone gallery in historic downtown Bellows Falls, Vermont. In doing so, it has brought together over one hundred local artists who have exhibited in thirty-two shows.
The Canal Street Art Gallery takes pride in showing art with a wide range of pricing from low to moderate, making the purchase of original art attainable to all collectors including the seasoned, new, and unexpected, and visitors have enjoyed the beautiful space along the canal while recognizing its ability to encourage creativity, vibrant conversation and the appreciation of fine art.
Our New gallery space is open! Take the Live tour on Bellows Falls 3rd Friday Gallery Night with live music from Asante. The 4th Annual Vermont Summer Group Show is the inaugural exhibit in the new gallery space.
With your help, the larger gallery now has space for more artists and more exhibitions, including additional open call group shows. The newest additional show is the Vermont Salon, opening September 16th. Hung in the floor-to-ceiling Salon style, the show provides the opportunity for artists of all levels and expressing themselves in all subjects and mediums to share their work.
Thanks to your support, the new space is also expanding Canal Street Art Gallery’s community outreach, programming, and events. The new Working Artist Program, an artist studio and exhibition space within the gallery, is launching soon! The goal of the Working Artist Program is to provide artists with an affordable space to complete a project, explore a new body of work, gain exposure and sales, or prepare for a solo show. By offering a working and exhibiting space which is free and open to the public, with new artists every one to three months, the program contributes opportunities for dialogue, events, and classes to the community. Our space and events are always free and open to the public.
There is always a need to support the making, sharing, and seeing of art; and to promote creativity, and free self expression. Thank you for helping to bring more art to our community and to build more community around our art.
A Special Thank You Goes to the Backers of our Kickstarter Campaign who helped bring this Project to Life!
