Artist’s Statement

I am a self taught glass artist. I love the look, feel and physics of glass. I am a juried member of the New Hampshire League of Arts and Crafts. My studio is in Lowell, MA. In addition to making art glass items, I teach classes in bead making and general glass blowing.

Biography

Aaron Slater’s intricately torch worked marbles presented in Canal Street Art Gallery’s Second Annual A WORLD SUSPENDED IN COLOR are one-of-a-kind individual pieces from the artist’s “Anemone” “Reef Scenes” and “Twist” collections. Each piece is composed in 360 degrees, with dramatic optics, scenes, and details throughout; offering an infinitely changing sphere of marvelous detail.
